Medical Coordinator
Location: White Hall, Maryland
Age: 21+
Responsibilities: Organize camp medical corner, order supplies, dispense medication, maintain Medical Log book, and track children with medical and other individual health and wellness needs. Responsible for implementation of COVID-19 safety protocols including, but not limited to: review of staff and participant immunization records, screening participants for signs of infectious disease, administration of COVID-19 rapid tests, and contacting families of participants who need to isolate at home.
This position offers full summer employment and *required staff trainings with overnights.

Relevant work experience required

Certified Medication Aide / Certified Medication Technician or other approved medication administration course completed

LPN or RN preferred

Teen Adventure (TA) Program Director
Outdoor educator to work in a mixed-aged learning environment (ages 5 - 16) with additional responsibilities working with 13-16 year old teens in the TA program.
Age: 21+
Responsibilities: Primary planner for four 4-day trips away from camp with teens (ages 13-16) in addition to Counselor responsibilities at day camp creating and leading activities with children (5-16). Works with camp directors to plan, organize, and implement TA trips and TA overnights at camp, co-leads four TA trips. This position offers full summer employment and required staff trainings with overnights.
Special Training Required:

Wilderness First Responder certification (includes CPR / AED)

Lifeguard certification

Experience with hiking / backpacking / biking / camping / orienteering / team-building

Experience in a leadership / supervisory / teaching role
Additional requirements:

All staff overnights (unless off-site during TA trips), including the last night of camp and closing down/summer debrief August 12-13.
Pay: $4000 / season + tuition remission
Counselors
Counselor - Camper Program
Outdoor educator to work in a mixed-aged learning environment (ages 5 - 16)
Location: White Hall, Maryland
Responsibilities: Co-plan and lead daily outdoor activities rain or shine, attend daily staff meetings, follow health and safety rules and practices, collaborate with fellow counselors, leadership staff and administrative staff. More info about the Camper program is available here.
Activities: Sensory awareness (acclimatization), natural crafts (carving, primitive technology, pottery, weaving, making cordage, macrame, bamboo flutes, pea shooters, nature journaling (writing and drawing), canoeing, lifeguarding, fire building, survival (orienteering, outdoor cooking, etc.), hiking, leading songs, New Games and initiatives skilled.

All counselor positions offer full summer employment and required staff trainings with overnights. (Accommodations can be made for high school students when the pre-camp training schedule conflicts with their school calendar)
